TASK 5: Learning styles





Make notes about activities you observe in the classroom which use the learning styles below:



Math
Science
Reading
Writing
Auditory
- Reading aloud
- Count singing
- Record sounds
- listening to teacher how to say the numbers or shapes and repeating it out loud.

- The ask student about the weather.
- Read a story about the four seasons out loud.
- Use audio players.
- The teacher read the story a loud then the students repeat again together.
- The students record them voice when they use a vocabulary.
- The students write what they hear of letters, numbers and words.
Visual
- Watching video about numbers or shapes.
- Use a flashcards 
- Use pictures

- Watching video about weather and Students go outside the classroom to watch the Weather.
- Use a flashcards & pictures

- Watching video about Letter Sounds Video & Songs – Phonics.
- In the shared reading the teacher use a big storybook that has a lot of pictures and vocabulary.

- The students write letters, words and numbers from flashcards or write the words which on the wall.
Kinesthetic
- Students use mathematics materials such as unifix cubes and Attribute blocks.
- The students prefer to explore what those around them.
In one of the tasks the students planted trees and watch how it grow.

- They enjoy watching the small insects with a magnifying glass.

- Give the students worksheets for the story characters. They can draw or paint, cut and paste.

- Write through magnetic alphabet letters to formation the compound words.
- Also, write through sand tray.





Answer the following questions:   



- Which learning styles did all the children seem to enjoy and why?  (Kinesthetic)

In this age the physical activity is very important to them because promote the skills of the children to use hands. Also, helping to the development of motor skills and thinking skills. In addition, relieves the energy and stress to get the natural balance.


- Why do you think the teacher incorporates a variety of learning styles for the children?

I think that they need different of learning styles because they have different levels and their abilities are different.


-How can teachers improve student learning by using a range of learning styles?

In my view, I think the teacher must to have knowledge of what is the level and the ability of students? also what are the strengths and weaknesses? they have. Here the teacher can improve the level of vulnerability of the student through the use of different learning styles.
